Brown County Amateur · Fund What You Want to See
Back the Media. Fund what you want to see.
We're here to provide the tournament coverage and media this event deserves. Help us send Jimmy O off with a bang — film the action, share the story, and cover it the right way.

The Legacy
His final year as host.
Let's make it unforgettable.

The Tradition
Some stories are bigger
than golf.

The Drama
The pressure. The heartbreak.
The shots nobody sees.

The Community
150 golfers. One family.
Help us tell their story.
We're here to provide the tournament coverage and media this event deserves — and send Jimmy O off with a bang.
The Vision
We want to do this tournament justice.
The Brown County Amateur is one of Wisconsin's most competitive tournaments — and 2026 is Jimmy O's final year as host. The pressure, the camaraderie, the heartbreak, the quiet moments nobody sees unless someone is there with a camera.
We want to provide the tournament coverage and media — and put every player at the center of the story.
The cameras, the editors, the writers, and the print partner are ready to go. What we don't have yet is the funding. That's where you come in.

Before you back this, flip through the work.
An eight-spread vision magazine — Whistling Straits, Sand Valley, last year's Brown County Amateur, and what we want to do next. Drag a corner to turn the page.
The Ask
Free media coverage. For every player.
Interviews, practice round footage, and three full days of tournament photography and video — at no cost to golfers. No sponsor dollars are covering this production. It's funded directly by people who want to see it happen.

Can't contribute right now? Sharing this page is worth as much as a dollar to us — it gets us in front of the next person who can.
Looking ahead · not funded yet
If this season goes well, we may explore producing a printed magazine and a documentary-style recap film after the tournament wraps. That's not part of this campaign — just where this could go if the community wants to see it.

After your contribution, you'll receive a private link to write your story whenever you're ready. We'll review it before it appears on the wall.

Every supporter gets their name on the wall — if they want it public — plus credit in the magazine and in the film.
Back the Media · Founder's Note
Why I'm backing the media.
"This event gave me my start in golf. Filming it in Jimmy O's last year is my way of giving something back."
Tap the card to read the full story — first job as a tad, winning the 4th flight, and trading clubs for a camera this year. If it resonates, add your name to the supporters helping fund the coverage.
