- Chipping and putting practice picks up in July.

- 8, depending on the wind — I play short of the bunkers or hit driver over them.
- What would winning mean to you?
- It's always the high point of the year to compete in the BC Men's Amateur.
- Favorite Amateur memory?
- Tim Howard winning two years in a row — and I won First Flight those same two years in the late '80s.
