A 25-year BCA veteran out of the last 30 who finally broke through in 2025, winning his first flight championship in his 25th attempt. Scott's prepping for a repeat by playing plenty of golf with three-time champ Dave Herzog.

- How many years have you played the Amateur?
- 25 years out of the last 30.
- Best finish?
- 1st. Finally got my first flight championship in 2025, in my 25th attempt.
- How do you prepare?
- I'm preparing by playing a lot of golf with Dave Herzog, a 3x BCA champ.
- Favorite hole?
- #17 has to be at the top of my list, I made my 1st hole in one on that hole in 2008.
- Most challenging hole?
- #12 gives me fits all the time. When I'm drawing the ball the tee box is always on the right & I spend all 3 days by the port-a-potty, when I'm fading the ball the tees are on the left & I play plinko in the right trees for 3 days.
- What would winning mean to you?
- Another win would validate my flight win last year & get me 1 championship closer to 3x BCA Champ Dave Herzog.
- Favorite Amateur memory?
- There are too many to count! On Friday in 2008 I started on #10 & made 3 birdies & zero bogeys & turned in 33, only to make a mess of the next 9 and shot 77. The patio stories & making life long friends, is what the BCA is all about & the most rewarding part of my 25 years participating in the best AM tourney in the Midwest.
