In their words

Jim on the BCA.

How many years have you played the Amateur?
35 plus years.
Best finish?
2013 First Flight Champion.
How do you prepare?
Concentrating on filling fairway divots and tee boxes to ensure fabulous playing conditions. Second, putting a new TaylorMade Qi4D driver in the bag with a Newton 4 dot shaft.
Favorite hole?
#12 — The Cemetery Hole. My intention is to have my ashes spread there, as long as I remove the titanium from 2 knee replacements, 2 thumb joint replacements and 1 total shoulder replacement. I do not want to damage the mower blades.
Most challenging hole?
12th hole because of the diabolical tee box Mr. Packard designed having the tee box facing to the right when you need to aim to the left. And hole #13 — I have lost more balls on that hole than any other hole ever. When the ponds are dug out this winter, I want all my ProV1's with 3 green dots back.
What would winning mean to you?
If it also meant that I won a case of Melotte hamburgers, that would be awesome.
Favorite Amateur memory?
I forget the year, but it was my last year of Championship flight. I shot two under 70 in the first round. I then proceed to hack out an 84 in day two and the rest is history.
